Open Call for Artists: Queen Exhibition June 2022

A digital edit of ‘Queen’, by Nasser Azam

Aspiring artists are invited to submit their portraits of The Queen for our summer exhibition ‘Art Save The Queen’ to mark the Platinum Jubilee.

Successful applicants will feature alongside established art stars at GALLERY@OXO in June 2022

Please email info@adlib.online with ‘Queen Exhibition’ in the subject line, and include your artist name, and links to your website and instagram, and images of the artwork(s) that you would like to submit.

Budding artists selected from the open call will see their work displayed alongside established artists such as Nasser Azam, Will Teather, Adam Bricusse, James Mylne, Michal Cole, Paul Don Smith, Tom Lumley, Ricardo Cinalli, Andrew Gow, Louisa Tebbutt, Abigail Fallis, Nick Reynolds, Carrie Reichardt, and Catman. The exhibition will also show privately owned works by Mr Brainwash and Chris Levine.

Curated by Ad Lib Gallery, ‘Art Save The Queen’ will be open to the public from 2 – 12 June at GALLERY@OXO on London’s South Bank. Portraits and depictions of HM Queen Elizabeth II by 52 established and emerging international artists will be showcased in the free exhibition as Britain celebrates the monarch’s 70 remarkable years on the throne.

Selected artworks will be displayed on prominent London Underground poster sites ahead of and during the exhibition. In addition, some of the pieces selected for the exhibition will be made into NFTs, with a scheduled drop date of 2 June 2022.
